This weekend my friends Laura, Nicole, and Jenna visited from Portland! It was wonderful to see them! Laura and I met on Instagram, one of my main methods for meeting people, and I met Nicole and Jenna through Laura. I knew that they’d be wearing Lolita so I decided to wear my adorable carnival-themed Bonne Chance dress. It’s one of my favorite dresses because the details are amazing, the fit is perfect, and it makes me feel super-cute! I thought it would compliment their looks nicely.

I had a really great time with the ladies. We met in Tukwila to grab lunch, do a little shopping, and hit up Round 1. I don’t get much lady time so it was really fun to just hang out and shop. At Round 1 we took purikura photos and played a few games. I love the games at Round 1!! They have Dance Dance Revolution, the Tsum Tsum game, and a whole smorgasbord of others. We had such a great time.
I loved getting dolled up to meet with these awesome ladies. It was a lovely way to spend a weekend.
Did you do anything fun this weekend?
I hope you’re having a great day! A few weeks ago I visited my wonderful friend, Laura, in Portland. She was so sweet and dressed me up in Lolita style. I wanted to test out this japanese street style for a while and Laura allowed me to do that! She let me borrow her adorable dress, bow, wrist cuffs, and even tights! I brought my purse and shoes along to go with the ensemble. I think they worked pretty well!! Laura had texted me a few photos of the dresses she planned on dressing me in so I knew what type of accessories I should wear. It worked really well!

Please Note: This popular Japanese street style has nothing to do with the book, “Lolita.”
I recently visited my amazing friend, Laura, in Portland for a really fun Lolita meet up! I met Laura on Instagram and immediately fell in love with her style. She wears adorable, pastel dresses and, like me, loves kawaii things. We’ve been chatting back and forth for a while and I randomly suggested that I go visit her and, if it was okay, try out the Lolita style. I’ve been interested in this specific Japanese street fashion and was interested to see it in person and test it out. As you might know, I love all things cute. Lolita style seemed right up my alley. Laura said she’d love to style me and from there we scheduled a date for our meet up.
