The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.

Hi Lovely!

Sometimes I feel like I waste too much time talking about all of the stuff I’d like to work on or do and not enough time actually doing it. There is a ton of stuff I’d like to devote more time to but I never make it a priority. I dream about all of the things and ways I should be spending time but never act on it. It seems a bit silly. I mean, why wouldn’t I do my best to make time for the stuff I want to do?

Change is inevitable

Hi Lovely!

I normally don’t talk much about my 8-5 job here on my blog. To be honest, it doesn’t really fit into my whole cutie brand. With that said, I’m breaking my usual rule. Here is the thing. Right now at my job we are going through a ton of change. Like, a ton. These changes are of course weighing on me a bit, not in a bad way necessarily, and it has me reflecting on how I react to change.

It is never too late to be what you might have been

Hi Lovely!

I hope you are having a wonderful day!! I spent my day hanging out with my wonderful partner, Fletch and our adorable puppy, Lily. It was pretty great! Now, let’s talk about today’s inspirational image, shall we?

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how I impact others. How my actions effect the days of those around me. In the end people won’t remember what your job was or how many movies you owned. They will remember how you made them feel. They will reminisce on the kindness you showed them.

Never lose faith in people

we can change the world

Hi Lovely!

There is something you should know about me. I believe that we have not only the power but the obligation to spark change. I am so proud to say that I’ve already seen wonderful change occur in this world. We continue to fight for equality for all and we’ve seen some great achievements but that isn’t to say that our work is over. There is still so much that needs to be done. Equality for all regardless of race, gender, religion, or anything else is still not upon us. It is up to us to fight for a better tomorrow.

So to you, all of you wonderful, kind, generous people. I encourage you to fight for change. Speak up if someone is mean to another person. Discourage racist or sexist jokes. I know we can’t all be on the front lines but we can make the world a better place with our everyday actions.

Let’s light the path towards a better, brighter tomorrow.
