I hope you’re having a spectacular day! On Saturday night Fletch and I found out that Kevin Smith was coming to Tacoma for a meet and greet at a local comic shop the next day! The tickets were only $10 a person so we jumped on it!!! When deciding what to wear I had a bit of a hard time. Do I wear something nerdy that we could possibly connect about? Do I just go for cute? Welp, I decided to go for cute and comfy (because that’s how I role). I’ve been wanting to wear my new Sanrio shirt from the latest Sanrio Loot Crate so I decided to bust it out. If it’s not good enough for Kevin Smith then when else would I wear it?

I’m so so incredibly excited about the shirt I’m sharing today. Sanrio recently released a collaboration with Godzilla where they styled Godzilla after different Sanrio characters. I decided to treat myself to the adorable Little Twin Stars shirt. I wasn’t going to buy it initially but decided to get it and, worse comes to worse, sell it once it arrived. I’m so incredibly happy I did!!! It fits perfectly, looks adorable, and is super-unique!

The only problem I have with this shirt is that the sleeves are a bit long. It’s a unisex size so I wasn’t too surprised. I went ahead and rolled up the sleeves and the problem was solved!
Fletch loves Godzilla so this collaboration combines both of our favorite things. It makes me happy to be able to represent both of our interests. I feel like this as a pretty interesting crossover. When I told other people about it, they looked confused. Why would Sanrio make a line of products with Godzilla? Well, I don’t care about the why because the designs are too perfect! I love anything that makes Godzilla appear cute or cuddly. So basically this collab hadn’t “Hilary” written all over it!
What are your thoughts on this collab? Are you loving it?
We recently had a bit of snow and I had to take the opportunity to snap a few photos before it melted. This is one of my all time favorite outfits. I adore this stripy dress from Bonne Chance Collections and love pairing it with my mint sweater. My favorite colors are pink, purple, and mint green (can you tell?) so this outfit is perfect for showing them off.
I wore this outfit out to brunch with Fletch a few days after Christmas. I had been lounging around the house for far too long and wanted to get a little dolled up. I decided to pair my most adored accessories with my super-cute dress to create an absolutely scrumptious look. Can you tell I’m feeling this look?

The holiday season was a bit tougher for me this year. I find myself missing my Mom more and more. Not having her around for Christmas was really difficult but with Fletch’s love, support, and wonderful company, I still had a great holiday. I allowed myself to be down when I needed to and when I was ready I dressed up and went out. Sometimes you just need to feel your emotions, right?
When I’m in a crummy mood I find that wearing bright colors or fun accessories cheer me up. Most days to work I wear a fun enamel pin. Most of the time they don’t even match. It’s just my way of wearing something spunky to work. Booth (from the hit television show Bones) wore silly socks. I wear pins. If it makes you happy then why the heck not?
What do you do when you feel down and need to lift your spirit? Do you change up your look?
Today’s outfit is a bit different than what I typically share. It’s a super-comfy look!!! I had the past week off and definitely took advantage of my lounging time! Fletch and I spent a good chunk of the days at work resting or packing so I didn’t really get dolled up much. Even though I was casual, I never miss an opportunity to dress kawaii!

I hope you’re having a wonderful day!! My latest outfit is a look I put together for Renegade Craft last weekend in Seattle! Fletch and I drove up so we could hang out with my brother, Dayton, and see if we could find any last minute gifts.
I wanted my look for the day to be festive so I started with a Christmas sweater but was having a difficult time finding the right accessories and decided to ditch the idea completely. Instead, I went with a color look that would reflect my excitement for the day. I think I nailed it!
This is one of my all time favorite looks. I love the way this Mak cardigan pairs with my cute Bonne Chance Collections dress. The colors just work so well together! This time around I paired my new Cinnamoroll backpack. The light blue compliments the mint and purple perfectly!
Fletch and I didn’t end up buying much but Dayton found a few awesome gifts. I’d say it was a successful craft fair visit!
Have you done anything fun lately? I’d love to hear about it!
