A few weeks ago I met up with my friends Angie and Jenn to grab ice cream and meet Angie’s new baby. It was a ton of fun!! I met them both through a blogging group and love getting together with them. We always enjoy eating yummy food, taking outfit photos, and catching up about life. Angie had her first child a few months ago so Jenn and I were excited to catch up and meet the little cutie. It was so fun!!
After ice cream and chatting we headed off to snap a few photos before parting ways.

Two of my favorite colors to combine are light purple and mint green. If you’ve seen past outfit posts then you probably already know that. When getting ready I wanted to look colorful and spunky. I was attending a fun event in Seattle and needed my personality to really shine through. My clothes are just another extension of who I am so why not make it as lively as I feel?

Disclaimer: I received this dress from eShakti in exchange for a review about my experience with my new dress. All opinions expressed are of course my own.
I’m so excited to share my new dress c/o eShakti! They invited me to pick out a dress and share my thoughts on it. Let me tell you, I LOVE IT. When I took it out of the package I immediately squealed with glee. It’s so stinkin’ cute!!
In case you don’t know about eShakti, they sell super-cute clothing that you can have made to your measurements. As someone who sometimes falls in-between sizes and always has to get things hemmed, I love this!! When picking out this dress I decided to go with the standard large size because it was pretty close to my measurements. I changed the length of the dress to fit my short frame and left the rest as is. It turned out perfectly!

Last week I was on a bit of a Spice Girls kick. I listened to them… a lot.. and then started watching a documentary on them that I happened-upon on YouTube. It was an hour long so I didn’t finish it (yet). I was feeling inspired by girl power so when I was picking out my outfit for Saturday I decided to rock my adorable “Girl Power” shirt from Luella. Fletch and I were going to a concert later in the evening so I was looking for something that would be cute and comfy. I think my outfit was a success!

Happy Tuesday my dear friends! I hope you’re having a great week so far. I’m still reminiscing about my weekend. Saturday I drove up to Seattle to have a yummy lunch with my friend, Bunny. Bunny and I met after I stopped at her booth at several different conventions. We then started chatting on Instagram and decided to hang out. I wanted to get dolled up for our first IRL hang so I wore my super-cute Bonne Chance dress. I adore this dress. It’s pink with scrumptious desserts all over and a cute kingdom scene at the bottom. This is one of the earlier Bonne Chance dresses I bought and it’s still one of my favorites.
