A few weekends ago I visited the Hello Kitty Café Truck when it visited Tukwila! Fletch and I got to the mall at 8:40 am to meet our friend, Barbara, and stand in line. The truck tends to sell out of items quickly so Barbara and I wanted to get a good spot in line.
We didn’t make it up to the truck until about 11 am. Luckily the amazing company of friends made the time pass by quickly. Barbara and I were able to get the items we wanted then we went our separate ways.
We had a fun time! It was a rainy, cold day so I had to dress in layers. I decided to bust out my purple overall dress and layer underneath my Little Twin Stars sweater.

Happy Mother’s Day! Today is a difficult day for me since I’ve lost my Mother. Even though she isn’t with us, I still feel it’s an important day to celebrate. I decided to take it easy and let myself wake up without an alarm. I got out of bed around 8:30 am and enjoyed breakfast at home with Fletch. After that, I did some Zumba before getting ready for the day and sitting down to write this post.
Mother’s Day for me is a day that reminds me to appreciate and celebrate every moment I had with my Mom but is also a solemn reminder that I don’t get to make any new memories with her. It’s a difficult day but I do my best to celebrate her. That’s what she deserves.
This weekend was spent lounging around the house and spending quality time with Fletch and my friends Cate and Luke. I wanted to get a lot done this weekend so I made a rather long to-do list. I am happy to say that I checked off a good amount of my tasks. Even with so much to do I still found time to reflect on my life, as I do too regularly.
I was recently invited to attend my first ever spin class! My wonderful friend, Angie, was contacted by SoulCycle to host a class! I was invited as one of her guests and I jumped at the chance to try something new. I took a rather long break from trying out new things or at least posting about it, and I’ve wanted to get back into it. Talk about a perfect opportunity!
I carpooled with my wonderful friend, Jenn, which I was very thankful for. She’s been to a class before and was able to help me set up my bike, get my shoes, and find a locker. We had bikes next to each other and having her next to me helped encourage me through the class.
I’m excited to share this adorable new look with you! I bought this new dress from Bonne Chance Collections and decided to wear it during my trip to California to visit my Dad. I decided to wear it when we took a trip up to San Francisco. I was a little nervous about styling this overall dress because it can be tricky finding a top that shines when partly hidden. Most of my shirts have their designs in the center which would be covered up by the top of this dress. I think I nailed it with this shirt and its design that covers the entire top.
