8 Things to Do Around Vancouver, B.C.

Hi Lovely!

Fletch and I are coming up on our 4th wedding anniversary (9 years total together) and we decided to celebrate by spending Labor Day in Vancouver, B.C.! This was our second visit to the area and had a great time seeing more of the sites and eating some delicious food! I’ve really enjoyed my visits to the Vancouver area and want to share a few of my suggested stops with you!

Gacha Hobbies

This place is absolutely amazing!! They have gachapon machines, lots of plushies, full packs of gachapon figures, and miscellaneous small figures and charms. It’s far too easy to spend a ton of money in this shop.

Richmond Night Market

The Richmond market is pretty cool. There’s tons of food, some carnival style games, and some shopping. If you have some time one evening I definitely suggest checking it out. If you decide to go make sure you get there early. Parking and traffic becomes worse as it gets later.

Snowy Village

If you’re in the mood for a delicious dessert that isn’t too heavy I suggest checking out this place for their bingsoo. It’s a light, dessert with lots of different flavor options.

Uncle Tetsu

Are you looking for a delicious, light, cheesecake? Look no further than Uncle Tetsu. Uncle Tetsu’s is a very popular bakery in Japan and I was so excited to try it out for myself. Be warned, there will probably be a long line when you go but it’s totally worth it.

Need a yummy breakfast spot? Cora is the place to go! They have multiple locations and the food is amazing! I got a crepe panini and I still dream about that meal. So good!

Sugar Lab

The Sugar Lab bakery has amazing crepe cakes! They come in many different flavors and are available to eat in or take to go.

Stanley Park

Stanley Park is a great place to walk around, enjoy the sun, and has some really pretty views. If you have a free day it’s a great place to visit.

Vancouver Aquarium

The Vancouver Aquarium is located in Stanley Park. If you end up at Stanley Park and need a break from the sun, hop on over to the aquarium. They have some really cool exhibits that you’ll want to check out.

I hope you enjoyed my list of things to do around Vancouver! If you have any additional suggestions let me know if the comment section!

  1. I’m glad that you enjoyed Vancouver! I’m originally from there, but moved to Ontario in 2013. Your website is really fun and cute! 🙂

Leave some love!
