When thinking about what I should write for this post I kind of had a hard time. Here is the thing. Most of the time I write things that I also need to hear. If I’m feeling down, these posts are a way for me to not only (hopefully) inspire others but also inspire myself. I’ve had a lot of my mind recently and kind of found this post a bit tricky. That is, until I found this quote.
I have a co-worker in my office and every day when I ask how he is doing he responds with, “every day is a good day.” It always blows my mind. How can every day be that great? I think, for me, I’m learning, slowly, to see the good in each day. Trust me, it’s hard. It’s especially challenging when you’re dealing with one (or more) of the problems that come up in our lives. That is why it is so difficult to accomplish. It is something that you have to work at every single day.
I guess that is why this quote kind of spoke to me. You have to write it on your heart. You have to internalize that every day is the best and go through your day looking at everything with that in mind. Now, I’m not saying that you shouldn’t have bad days. I mean, that is unrealistic. But, I guess, looking at things in this way will help with those little things that can so easily make a good day into a crappy one. We need to set ourselves up from the get-go to have an amazing day. It makes interpreting the moments in our days so much easier.
Love you all and thank you so much for being so supportive of me and my blog. You all fill me with so much joy.
