I like to think that Valentine’s Day is a time to not only celebrate romantic love but also the love you feel towards others. That could be your friends, your family, your co-workers, etc. There are so many different types of love that deserve recognition.
That is why I decided to celebrate Galentine’s day (a holiday that originated in Parks and Recreation and is now being celebrated in real life). Basically, you spend time with your special lady friends and show them love. It is pretty great. The friends that wanted to participate live all over the country so I am sending them little gifts in the mail. I mean, everyone loves mail! My dear friend, Meagan, came by to see the house, exchange gifts, and we went on a fun double-date with our partners. The meal was delicious and the company, even better!
Now I leave you with these final thoughts. We don’t need to wait for a holiday to show people we care. If you have a friend you haven’t talked to in a while, give them a call. Text that sibling that you never speak with to see how they are. We don’t know what will happen tomorrow so let’s make the most of today.
Love you all and thank you for being my supporters, my friends, and so much more. You all mean the world to me.
